9:00 Required Session: Year 1 Student Advisory Group meetings with faculty advisors. Please check the bulletin board in Seminary House foyer for the name of your advisor and the location of your meeting (either in Seminary House OR Emmerson Hall).
9:30 - 10:30 Orientation Assembly
New Education students are requested to attend, and returning students are welcome to attend.
11:00 - 12:00 B.Ed. Society Activities (watch for announcements)
Includes ice breaker activities, campus tour
12:00 - 1:00 Dean's Luncheon: Outside Denton Hall

1:00 - 2:30 Year 1 Students:

3:30 - 4:30 Optional Session: Laptop/Tech Orientation

Facilitator: Mr. Duane Currie, Academic Technologies Coordinator
This workshop will help you get started with your laptop on the Acadia network. Topics: basic setup, connecting on campus and off, software expectations, finding Acorn (your courseware system) and Acadia e-mail. Please bring your laptop and network cable.
6:00 - 9:00 Potluck and Board Games hosted by B.Ed. Society
