Endorsation

Elementary Program students will be endorsed as general Elementary School teachers.

Students in the Secondary Program specialize in selecting both a major and a minor teaching discipline. They will be endorsed in those subject disciplines.

Some students may also seek Dual Endorsation by attaining the credentials to be certified to teach both as an Elementary School teacher and a subject specific specialist at the Secondary level.  Examples include: Music, French, Physical Education, and Fine Arts. The School’s ability to offer endorsations varies year to year, and depends on a number of factors, including faculty complement and specializations, student enrolment numbers, and course offerings in a particular year.  Please contact the B.Ed. administrative assistant for more information on which endorsations are available.
